The Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper made history as part of the Senegal squad who lifted the first Africa Cup of Nations title in their country’s history on Sunday.
Seny proved himself to be a reliable member of the Senegal squad, playing the opening two group games and keeping two clean sheets as Senegal won 1-0 against Zimbabwe and drew 0-0 with Guinea.
Sunday’s final against Egypt was decided by a penalty shootout after the game finished 0-0 after 120 minutes of action.
