Unique Sports Group are currently looking to add an enthusiastic, driven and forward-thinking Commercial Sales Executive.

Your primary job function will be to grow the commercial portfolio of our elite footballing talent and assist in securing sponsorship and endorsement opportunities.

This role will be based at our Hertfordshire office, reporting to the Managing Director and Head of Commercial.

All relevant work equipment will be provided, along with a competitive remuneration package.


  • Analyse the market, then identify and approach brands to deliver fresh commercial opportunities to our clients (inclusive of start-up brands)
  • Actively seek and source commercial and endorsement opportunities through cold-calling, networking and social media. The role requires significant time on the phone and via electronic communications to contact prospective brands
  • Establish regular communications with brands and set up meetings with potential partners to promote our clients and agency services
  • Introduce and populate a database and CRM management system (e.g. Pipedrive)
  • Create frequent reports detailing updates, contact processes and results
  • Produce and deliver appropriate presentations to brands showcasing our clients and agency services
  • Collaborate with the wider team of football intermediaries and the client support team to achieve best results
  • Maintain and demonstrate a strong knowledge and interest in the commercial aspects of the sports industry sector (inclusive of trade publications, social media and other professional sources)
  • Be future thinking on how clients can be marketed or positioned to achieve higher commercial profiles
  • Be able to work additional hours as and when required


  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in another relevant role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software
  • Computer literate and proficient in use of Microsoft Office
  • Thorough understanding of sports marketing
  • Good understanding of football in the UK
  • Be a learner and passion for both sales and football
  • Be confident in generating new leads and opportunities from cold calling, research, and networking
  • Be self-motivated and ambitious, with a strong work ethic and a results-driven approach


  • Existing knowledge of football clubs and players
  • Previous experience of the Salesforce CRM system
  • Identifying trends and movements in the commercial markets and how talent is being marketed
