Valerien Ismael has been appointed as the new head coach of Besiktas.
The former West Bromwich Albion and Barnsley boss will take the reins of the Turkish Super Lig side, who parted company with their former manager after slipping to 8th in the league after a run of two wins in eight games.
The French-born manager impressed after moving from Austrian side LASK to join Barnsley, where he had a 57% win percentage and guided the Tykes to an unexpected play-off berth.
Valerien has now signed a one-and-a-half-year deal with Besiktas, with the option of a further year.
Everybody at Unique wishes Valerien the best of luck in Turkey.
