Cameron Archer has joined Preston North End on loan for the rest of the 2021/22 season.
The 20-year-old forward heads to Deepdale from Premier League side Aston Villa.
This will be Archer’s first EFL loan spell following his breakthrough at Villa Park, which has seen him score four times in five appearances for the first team this season.
Archer now joins up with Ryan Lowe’s squad for the second half of the Championship season. Preston sit 15th, just three points away from the top half of the table.
