Unique Sports Group is looking to recruit a full time Data Analyst. In this important role you will collaborate with key staff members to ensure data-driven insights shape critical footballing decisions providing us with a competitive advantage.
Main roles and responsibilities
- Combining and analysing large data sets
- Developing and improving statistical models which identify elite performers (current and potential)
- Analysing player/team and manager performance
- Creative interactive dashboards/visualisations for both internal and external presentations
- Performing and presenting research projects
- Maintaining and further developing web applications which enhance decision making and performance across the business
- Creating and following processes to keep data confidential
The ideal candidate will
- Have experience with Event and Tracking Football Data
- Have experience with Tableau or similar visualisation software
- Be proficient in Python and/or R
- Have previous experience of working within a Football Club
- A BSc (Hons) in Computer Science/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics or an equivalent subject matter
- Must be located in UK or willing to relocate to the London area
- Have a minimum of two-years working for a club
