Unique are delighted to announce that Jannik Vestergaard’s transfer from Southampton to Leicester City has been completed.
After three seasons with the south coast club, the Denmark international has signed a three-year deal with the Foxes ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
An established international defender, Vestergaard’s career to-date also includes Hoffenheim, Werder Bremen, Borussia Monchengladbach. He joins Leicester following Denmark’s successful campaign at Euro 2020 this summer.
“I’m very happy and I’m really excited to get going,” Vestergaard said. “It’s a special club that has done very well over many years.
“I think the project is very, very exciting, even from the outside looking in. To be a part of it is a big thing for me.”
